Edge caching for Next.js apps
Supported Next.js 15 and 16 apps now serve eligible /_next/static/ files through Velcio's edge network. This includes the JavaScript and CSS produced by your build.
Immutable files are cached near visitors, reducing requests to your app. Assets from recent releases stay available after a deployment, so an open page can still load its original files.
Requests that depend on your app's middleware, redirects or rewrites continue to your app. Header rules that the edge cannot preserve also use the application runtime.
