* Regional recovery is for stateless web apps where enabled. Check your app's recovery status: preparation or Pro capacity may still be pending. It is not an uptime or recovery-time guarantee. Temporary recovery can use a region outside your configured regions.

Regions and replica counts

Set an independent count in each region. Your monthly quantity is the total across all active regions.

Topology: Every configured replica is paid, active capacity. A prepared recovery copy is separate: stopped until needed, not an extra always-running replica.
Routing: Cloudflare prefers nearby healthy capacity. Recovery copies receive traffic only after activation and health checks.
Billing: Paid quantity is the sum of configured replicas across regions and billable web services.
Recovery: All plans replace unhealthy instances. Standard and Pro add prepared regional recovery where enabled, with no extra replica charge during temporary failover. Pro has priority and reserved capacity once ready; Standard uses what remains. Read the recovery conditions.
